Product description The 16x9 Inc. Cine Base Mini 15 Kit for Sony FS700 comes with the Cine Base Mini 15 Support Base and Movcam Camera Spacer.
Machined out of solid aluminum, the Cine Base Mini 15 Support Base provides a solid build for tough environments. Built of quality materials and machined with precision, this support base is designed to stand the test of time. The Movcam Camera Spacer can be swiftly mounted onto the Cine Base M15 Support Base.
A dual-locking mechanism securely locks industry-standard 15mm support rods (sold separately) onto the 15mm Cine Base. The individual lock levers make it possible to adjust the rods individually for fine tuning.
Located on the camera operator's side, a locking lever securely locks the 15mm Cine Base onto the compact dovetail or any industry-standard dovetail rails. The locking lever activates a spring-loaded brake-system, preventing the 15mm Cine Base from sliding on the dovetail rails.
The 15mm Cine Base incorporates a safety lock mechanism that automatically and securely locks the camera support plate. When mounting the camera support plate onto the 15mm Cine Base, the safety lock automatically lowers itself on contact. Once in place, the camera support plate is secure. To release the camera support plate, you can simply press down on the safety lock and slide the camera support plate off.
Smooth sliding between the 15mm Cine Base and the dovetail is made possible by the addition of acetal homopolymer (polyacetal) on the bottom of the 15mm Cine Base. The added feature will allow you to smoothly slide and balance your camera without any binding movements.
Designed to mount onto studio base plates from ARRI or Chrosziel, the 15mm Cine Base comes standard with 2 thread hole patterns. The first row features 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 female threads and the second row features 3/8"-16 female threads. Note: This support base does not come with support rods. The rods must be purchased separately. - Cine Base M15 Support Base The 16x9 Inc. Cine Base M15 Support Base is a part of the camera support setup used to balance the camera when shooting with zoom lenses and other accessories.
The dual lock knobs lock the 15 mm support rods onto the Cine Base; they can also be used to adjust the rods individually for fine tuning. A locking lever with a spring-loaded brake system securely locks the Cine Base onto the compact Dovetail or any industry-standard dovetail rails. On mounting the camera support plate to the Cine Base, a safety lock automatically falls in place and secures the plate to the base. The presence of delrin, a thermoplastic with low friction, on the bottom of the Cine Base allows it to smoothly slide over the dovetail. The Cine Base is made of solid aluminum, which makes it highly durable. The Cine Base is designed to mount onto studio base plates from ARRI or Chrosziel. - Cine Base balances cameras with zoom lenses or accessories

- Camera Top Spacer for Sony FS700 The Movcam Camera Top Spacer for Sony FS700 mounts a separately-sold 16x9 Cine Base M15 rail/plate support system to provide height spacing between the system and a Sony FS700 camera. The extra spacing lets you properly align accessories such as a mattebox and follow focus.
Another use would be additionally attaching into the two screw-holes on the side a Movcam FS700 Side Bracket with an FS700 Top Handle. This combination will wrap around the camera and will provide you with numerous 1/4" and 3/8" threads, with a rod clamp and with a cold shoe.
