Product description 16x9's 169-HDWC7X-43 EXII Wide Angle Converter is an HD-quality 0.7x add-on lens designed specifically for camcorder lenses using a 43mm filter thread. Providing a 30% wider field of view so you can capture more on-camera action, the converter's full zoom-through capability translates to no edge vignetting at any point along the zoom range. With three multi-coated glass elements to keep barrel distorton and chromatic aberrations to a minimum, the EXII also offers an improved design and lighter weight over previous EX versions. Its threaded front accepts any 67mm filter, with compatibility extending to Chrosziel sunshades and matteboxes--allowing for high-quality imagery in virtually any shooting environment. - Compact and Lightweight Design
- Weighing only 5.1 oz, the EXII 0.7X Wide Converter significantly reduces weight compared to other wide converters, a critical advantage for camera operators shooting handheld.
- Wider Coverage & Full Zoom Thru
- The EXII 0.7X Wide Converter provides 30% more angle of view over the stock lens and maintains full zoom-thru capability.
- Highest Optical Standard
- Cutting-edge optics reduce geometric (barrel) distortion and improve off-axis performance, particularly chromatic aberrations and flatness of field.
- Filtering Solutions
- For greater light control, the lens front is threaded to accept 67mm glass filters.
- Shading Solutions
- For a great shading solution, 16x9 Inc. offers an optional lightweight Rubber Lens Shade. For professional filter solutions, the EXII 0.7X neatly interfaces with Chrosziel mattebox systems.
