Product description Addressing the difficulties with sending an HDMI signal an extended distance, the Neuvideo 1 x 8 HDMI Splitter and Extender over Cat5e/6 System enables transmitting your signal up to 150'. In addition, this box splits the signal to eight Ethernet outputs, enabling you to send the signal to eight separate devices up to 150' away, and features an HDMI output to feed a local device. It supports signals up to 1080p60 at 24-bits per pixel, as well as LPCM 7.1, Dolby TrueHD, and DTS-HD master audio. The splitter supports HDMI 1.2, HDCP 1.2, DV 1.0, and EDID control. Eight Ethernet to HDMI receivers are powered via PoE, which means you don't have to place them near an AC outlet for power. These receivers convert the signal running over the Cat5e/6 cable back to standard HDMI signals. The included IR transmitter and receivers enable controlling the playout HDMI device via an IR remote from any one of the receivers. - The splitter allows for your video source to be in a secure remote location for controlled access, while still delivering a signal to up to eight devices up to 150' away.
- The receivers obtain power from the base unit over the same category cable via PoE (Power over Ethernet). This eliminates the need for an additional power outlet at each receiver.
- The IR remote receivers and transmitter enable you to control your IR enabled playback device, such as a DVD player, from any one of the eight receivers.
- Operates for TMDS clock frequencies up to 148.5 MHz.
