Product description Housed in a standard 2 RU rackmount housing, the ACME VIDEO SOLUTIONS RACK 4/4K is a powerful tool for live video production. A full Windows PC is built into the chassis, featuring an Intel Core i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce graphics. I/O consists of four industry-standard SDI inputs on an AJA capture board, two of which can be configured for output instead. The 4/4K model ups the ante with a 4K-capable HDMI input on a Magewell board. 4K allows for ROI (Region-Of-Interest) functionality, enabling parts of a high-resolution image to be cropped for additional angle options. To utilize the functionality of the ACME RACK, separate software is required. Audio can be embedded in the video inputs or brought in separately via the XLR combo jacks. USB I/O can support extra storage or additional I/O or control options with separately available hardware. On the software side, the ACME RACK can be used with the popular vMix, Wirecast, and LiveStudio software, allowing the end-user to take advantage of the different software strengths depending on the production. Because of its versatility, the ACME RACK can find its way into houses of worship, schools, studios, and live event venues that wish to produce their own live content. - Compact Design
- Designed for maximum space efficiency, the ACME RACK is built into an ultra-short depth 2 RU rackmount configuration. At just over 16" deep, you won't need a huge transport rack case to house a unit for your OB truck or vehicle.
- Flexible Input Options
- Video I/O is delivered using AJA and Magewell technology. 3G-SDI inputs allow for long cable runs with locking connectors. On 4/4K units, the additional 4K HDMI input provides the ability to ingest 4K camera footage.
For audio, professional Neutrik combo jacks provide balanced XLR/TRS inputs and XLR outputs for connecting legacy analog audio mixing consoles and other equipment. Multi-channel embedded audio through the video inputs is also supported. - Versatile Software Compatibility
- The ACME RACK is compatible with a wide variety of production software and are specifically configured to work closely with Telestream Wirecast Studio or Pro, vMix HD or Pro and LiveStudio.
- SSD Storage
- Acme RACK systems come with high-speed NVME SSD drives for the operating and applications. An additional drive bay provides access to theoretically unlimited high-speed storage via removable 2.5" SSD hot-swap bays.
