Product description The Leveling Base with Quick Release Clamp from Acratech is a useful tripod accessory for a variety of tasks, including macro, panoramic, and studio photography. Designed to make small, incremental adjustments, this leveling base can be shifted in any direction up to plus or minus 10°. The solid, yet lightweight, aluminum construction allows it to support up to 25 lb while only weighing 0.6 lb. Its compact size won't add much bulk to your pre-existing support setup as it stands only 2.2" tall.
One of the greatest advantages of Acratech products is their satin anodized finish, which creates an almost friction-less mechanical environment without the need for grease or oil lubricants. This design ensures that the internal parts will not attract or hold dust, dirt or debris. Additionally, all knobs are secured to the head to prevent any parts from accidentally detaching during use.
The base also features an integrated Arca-type compatible quick release clamp for wide compatibility with most Arca-type accessories. A built-in bubble level assists the user with accurate positioning and the bottom 3/8"-16 mount makes this base compatible with most tripods and supports.
