Product description The AdderLink Digital ipeps from Adder is a digital KVM extender that provides secure, remote management over IP addresses for a single system. The AdderLink Digital ipeps connects to the host computer via one DVI and two USB connections and sports a Fast Ethernet port that joins it to your network. Management of the connected system can be accomplished at different locations using a standard web browser or with the included Real VNC client software. Additionally, an RS232 port is on board for remote re-booting of the computer.
The AdderLink Digital ipeps extender supports resolutions of up to 1920 x 1200 and is powered using the provided power adapter or through bus-powered USB ports on the target computer. For security, the extender comes equipped with AES 128-bit encryption along with RSA public key authentication. Moreover, it offers full control even during boot-up, BIOS-level, and computer-crash states, so you can correct computer issues. - Digital Video Inputs
- The AdderLink Digital ipeps supports up to 1920 x 1200 resolutions coming from a single-link DVI connection. It is also compatible with systems that feature a DisplayPort DP++ (Dual-Mode) or HDMI output with user-supplied converter cables.
- Independent Operation
- The Digital ipeps offers full control during boot-up, BIOS-level, or computer-crash states. Moreover, it will work if the controlled devices are not operational.
- Video Performance
- The AdderLink Digital ipeps can be accessed by a standard web browser; however, Real VNC viewer is available for improved graphical performance. Free of the limitations of HTTPS, Real VNC enhances video performance.
- Security
- With AES 128-bit encryption and RSA 2048-bit public key authentication, the AdderLink Digital ipeps secures data. It is further enhanced by the use of Real VNC that allows for the creation of ciphered user communications. Additionally, it supports both IPV4 and IPV6 addresses.
- USB and Virtual Media Support
- To transfer files from remote users to controlled computers, the AdderLink Digital ipeps acts as a conduit through which data can be passed. Files can be transferred via IP onto the Digital ipeps and onto the target computer by means of a USB virtual media port.
- RS232 Serial Interface
- An RS232 port delivers communication to devices, such as power switches, allowing remote rebooting of the target computer.
- Power Support
- The AdderLink Digital ipeps can either be powered from two USB cables or independently from an external 5V power source.
- User Management
- The AdderLink Digital ipeps can create up to 16 user profiles with defined access rights. The unit can be accessed by up to 4 users simultaneously.
- AdderLink Infinity
- The AdderLink Digital ipeps can be used as a remote gateway into the AdderLink Infinity system by connecting it into an optional AdderLink Infinity receiver unit. This feature allows users to access any computer on the AdderLink Infinity network with their standard username and password from any location including mobile devices.
