Product description The Aimetis VE410 Automatic License Plate Recognition License is delivered on a USB dongle along with one Enterprise camera license for the Symphony VMS. The USB dongle serves as a hardware key to use the ALPR video analytics, which is a part of the Enterprise license. Each dongle enables one CPU core for ALPR analytics and each CPU core allows up to four cameras to be processed simultaneously. Multiple ALPR dongles are required if you have more than four cameras and individual Enterprise licenses are required for each camera. The ALPR video analytics is configured directly inside the Symphony user interface and is designed to detect and index license plates. VE410 ALPR can be used in environments where vehicles are traveling at a maximum speed of 19 mph (30kph). Up to two lanes of traffic can be analyzed with a 720p network camera connected to Aimetis Symphony via a video encoder. VE410 ALPR is able to analyze video in real-time, therefore no external trigger is required. This add-on video analytics engine is suitable for access control applications as well as traffic control and enforcement applications. Note: VE410 ALPR is not designed for mobile surveillance. - License plate recognition with low error rate
