Product description The AirTurn DIGIT III is a rechargeable multi-functional remote control with Bluetooth Connectivity. Paired with tablets, computers, smartphones, and other such devices, the DIGIT III can be used to turn pages in a sheet-music context, or to control a presentation in PowerPoint, Keynote, and similar applications. The remote, which is rechargeable via its micro-USB port, sports navigation controls and other buttons, totaling eight in number. You’ll find a 3/4" strap holder and a lanyard loop built right into the device.Six different modes are provided for different contexts, such as with Microsoft applications, Adobe software, multi-media players (for instance, iTunes), and even for DAWs; imagine if you’re recording yourself in your project studio: You could easily use the DIGIT III to initiate record so you don’t have to scuttle between the microphone and your keyboard, if they are not close to each other. For an explanation of the various modes, please read continue to the features section. Note: Please note: The AirTurn Digit III is not compatible with first- or second-generation iPads (model numbers A1219, A1337 and A1395 through A1397). For compatibility with those devices, please purchase the AirTurn DIGIT. - Modes Explained
- 1: GATT Proprietary Mode, for use with GATT-compatible apps.
2: Presentation 1, most commonly used with PowerPoint, Keynote, and other popular presentation applications. 3: Presentation 2, used with office apps such as Microsoft Word, Adobe, etc. 4: Media/Camera Mode, used for iTunes and other audio/multi-media players that support remote control. It may also be used for remote triggering of cameras and video on most tablet computers. 5: Assisted Tech Mode, for specific applications which use the Space and Enter keys for navigation. 6: Studio Mode, for navigation with DAW apps that support keyboard control. The specific key commands must be set up within the DAW app ahead of time. - Pairing and Connecting
- The DIGIT III is designed to always be discoverable and will show up as a keyboard. Once paired, the DIGIT III will automatically connect back to the host device on power up or when a link is lost.
- Integrating with iOS
- The DIGIT III acts like a keyboard for iOS devices in modes two through six. The keyboard key will toggle on/off the keyboard in iOS apps that require the virtual keyboard in mode six. Press the keyboard button when there is an active text box for input. A brief press of the power button will also toggle the keyboard in modes two through six.

Through the remote efforts of a Tech was able to get back online, however, "settings" are only listed 1 - 5 with no action listed as was 'visibly' available, (i.e. Scan both sides, Black and White, Color, etc.)
