Product description The AirTurn STOMP 6 is a Bluetooth-enabled switcher that allows you to control your computer, smartphone, or tablet, all while performing on stage. Its form factor is similar to that of a stompbox or guitar pedal, and as such, integrates with your existing pedalboard. As a musician would engage or bypass an effects pedal with the tap of a toe, you can now control hundreds of compatible apps via six heavy-duty, momentary footswitches.For instance, if you were triggering tracks from iTunes while playing on the stage, you could dictate stop/start, next/last song, and volume changes from the STOMP 6 as you play your instrument. Alternatively, you could use the STOMP 6 to scroll through lyrics, turn pages of digital sheet music, or flip through tablature.The STOMP 6 is fully compatible with the ONSONG app, which is an effective tool for triggering backing tracks, changing light cues, and more in the theatrical vein. The MIDI capabilities of the STOMP 6, when combined with the ONSONG app, will even allow you to create presets for your effects loops, synths, and drum machines, in much the same way a MIDI switcher would operate.The Stomp 6 can run off your 9V pedalboard power supply, or by means of a 9V battery. It features a heavy-duty aluminum chassis, making it suitable on stage or on tour.
