Product description The HA5-4K 4K HDMI to 4K SDI Mini-Converter from AJA provides high-quality conversion of 4K HDMI to 4K SDI via a quad-link 3G-SDI output at frame rates up to 50/60 fps. It also supports SD, HD, and 2K HDMI to SDI conversion as well. The HA5-4K automatically senses incoming HD/2K resolution HDMI signals and convert them to a single 3G-SDI output. Up to eight channels of HDMI embedded audio can be passed through to the SDI output, ensuring your audio is always in sync with the SDI signal. The HA5-Plus features a compact, portable, and rugged design and comes with a universal power supply with international plugs for use around the world. AJA's free-download MiniConfig control software allows you to control all the parameters of the HA5-4K, and lets you download firmware updates that add new features and functionality. It provides an easy-to-use graphical interface with detailed information about the current input and output formats. Note: HDCP content not supported on HDMI input. - Connectivity
- The HA5-4K accepts 4K HDMI signal and provides a quad-link 3G-SDI output. It is suitable for conversion of HDMI video from DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, action cameras, or prosumer 4K video cameras to 4K SDI for use in professional 4K workflows.
- 4K and UltraHD
- HA5-4K supports conversion of full resolution 4K (4096 x 2160) as well as UltraHD (3840 x 2160) from HDMI to quad-link 3G-SDI at frame rates up to 50/60 fps at 4:2:0, providing a great solution for cinematic 4K productions as well as UHD projects.
- HD Support
- When you're not working in 4K, HA5-4K can still be a useful tool for converting HD-HDMI to HD-SDI. HA5-4K will automatically sense an incoming HD resolution HDMI signal and convert this to a single 3G-SDI output.
- Audio
- Up to 8-channels of embedded audio in the incoming HDMI signal are carried through seamlessly into the SDI output, ensuring your audio is always in sync and carried flawlessly along with the SDI signal for use anywhere in your workflow.
- USB and MiniConfig Support
- AJA's free-download MiniConfig software provides an easy-to-use graphical interface with detailed information about the current input and output formats. It allows you to control all the parameters of the HA5-4K, and lets you download firmware updates that add new features and functionality.
- Universal Power Supply
- A universal power supply with international plug connections for use around the world is included.
- Compact and Portable
- The HA5-4K is small enough to fit behind a monitor, in the back of a rack, or directly on a camera rig. The device's locking power connector can't accidentally pull loose and the separately available P-TAP power cable allows for battery power in remote locations.
