Product description The AKG Blue Line Series SE300B Power Module and CK92 Omnidirectional Microphone Kit from B&H includes the AKG SE300B power module and the CK92 omnidirectional microphone capsule. It can be used for close-up miking techniques, as well as for ambient recordings, and offers a neutral presentation of sound sources for studio, live, and broadcast applications. - AKG SE-300B Power Supply The AKG SE-300B is a power supply and signal output stage for all AKG Blue Line series microphone capsules. The power supply is designed as the back-bone of the Blue Line series, allowing a variety of interchangeable capsules to be used as applications change.The SE-300B is a lightweight, rugged unit with an output stage that preserves the integrity of the audio signal while providing a very low noise floor and high output gain. A preattenuation switch provides extra headroom and eliminates distortion caused by overload when reproducing excessively loud signals. A low frequency roll-off switch reduces low frequency noise caused by wind, ambiance, bad grounds etc. The SE-300B is powered with an external 9 to 52 V phantom power source.

The miniature capsule features a flat wide frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz allowing smooth accurate signal reproduction without coloration. The omni-directional polar pattern provides a generous pick up response at the direct and off-axis sections of the microphone capsule. The result is smooth, even signal character and frequency response at all angles with minimal noise due to handling. The CK92 is powered with the AKG SE-300B power supply.
