Product description The CGN331 E Gooseneck Microphone Dam Set from AKG includes the CK31 high-performance cardioid condenser microphone capsule and the GN30 E high-performance gooseneck module. The CK31 offers a wide cardioid polar pattern and is designed for inexperienced speakers and applications where more than one person uses the microphone in turn. The GN30 E gooseneck module works in fixed or mobile installations and comes with an integrated XLR phantom power adapter with 250 Hz bass roll-off, LED ring. It connects to any standard mixer input with 9 - 52V power supply. - CK31 Cardioid Microphone Capsule The AKG CK31 is a cardioid microphone capsule designed for use with the DAM (Discreet Acoustics Modular) Series mounting modules. The cardioid polar pattern minimizes noise and ambiance at the off-axis (sides) of the microphone. The result increases directivity and provides high gain-before-feedback response when using near speakers or monitors.The wide frequency response of 50 Hz to 20 kHz minimizes low-frequency noise caused by wind and proximity effect while reproducing audio signal with great accuracy and rich detail. The module design allows quick and easy capsule replacement for added flexibility. The package includes a special two-part windscreen, which efficiently reduces wind and pop noise.

- The CK31 is designed with gold-plated contacts with deep threads for use with the DAM (Discreet Acoustics Modular) Series mounting modules. The modular design offers quick capsule replacement and enhances flexibility.
- Cardioid Polar Pattern
- The cardioid polar pattern minimizes noise and ambient audio signal at the off-axis (sides) of the microphone capsule.
- Wide Frequency Response
- The wide frequency response of 50 Hz to 20 kHz offers smooth, accurate audio reproduction while minimizing low-frequency noise.
- Dual-Layer Wind Protection
- The included dual-layer windscreen provides a primary layer, which disperses the incoming wind stream while the second layer further diffuses wind flow before reaching the diaphragm.

The gooseneck accommodates the AKG CK series microphone capsules and it's adjustable gooseneck is designed to provide noise-free operation. The gooseneck mount also features integrated bass roll-off filter switch and On/Off switch with power indicator LED.
