Product description The AKG HM1000 Hanging Module and CK31 Cardioid Microphone Capsule Kit from includes the AKG HM1000 hanging module, a 33' hanging cable, a spring-loaded steel clip, and the CK31 modular cardioid microphone capsule. This kit can be used to fly the mount and microphone capsule from a ceiling to capture music or speech in houses of worship, conference rooms, boardrooms, and other sound reinforcement applications. - AKG HM 1000 Ceiling Hanging Module for CK Series Microphone Capsules The AKG HM 1000 Ceiling Mount is designed to mount the AKG CK 31, CK 32, CK 33, CK 47 and CK 80 microphone capsules from high ceilings in theaters, concert halls, houses of worship, lecture halls and anywhere hanging is desired. The mount includes a 33' (10m) long, specially treated cable that avoids twisting and a spring-loaded, steel hanging clamp for exact microphone positioning. An LED ring illuminates to indicate power.

The cardioid polar pattern minimizes noise and ambiance at the off-axis (sides) of the microphone. The result increases directivity and provides high gain-before-feedback response when using near speakers or monitors.The wide frequency response of 50 Hz to 20 kHz minimizes low-frequency noise caused by wind and proximity effect while reproducing audio signal with great accuracy and rich detail. The module design allows quick and easy capsule replacement for added flexibility. The package includes a special two-part windscreen, which efficiently reduces wind and pop noise.
