Product description The AKG K175 comprise a pair of closed-back, on-ear headphones designed for monitoring and mixing applications. With 40mm transducers and a frequency response of 18 Hz to 26 kHz, these headphones are capable of reproducing not only bass frequencies—but detailed bass frequencies, allowing you to make critical balancing decisions when you don’t have access to apposite monitoring systems.Furthermore, AKG’s largely-metal design elements ensure the K175 are durable, comfortable and portable: All-metal hinges, combined with a self-adjusting headband, offer a comfortable and secure fit, putting a premium on acoustic isolation throughout its lifespan. Many supra-aural headphones do not provide comfort or isolation, but the K175 aims to be the exception, rather than the rule. These headphones include a detachable, coiled cable and a carry bag. - Studio-Grade Headphones
- Designed to give you a transparent, articulated, and uncolored sound, these headphones are suitable for use in studio-reference applications.
- Bass Response
- The K175 offers 40mm transducers to provide both low-frequency extension and detailed bass reproduction, eliciting an articulated bottom-end response.
- Durable Construction
- AKG is known for the durability of its headphones—and this pair aims to deliver the same long-lasting construction. Intensive driver stress tests, exaggerated drop tests, and more have been employed to ensure these headphones will stand up to studio use. Many critical components are fashioned from metal—including the hinge. Additionally, the cable is replaceable, further extending the life of these headphones.
- Portable, Collapsible Design
- With its three-axis hinge, the K175 can easily be collapsed and transported in tight spaces—for instance, its included travel bag. The design minimizes the exposure to damage that comes with the mobile lifestyles of musicians, producers, and audio engineers.
- Comfortable Fit
- The AKG K175 offers a self-adjusting headband, floating ear cups, and a three-axis hinge to provide you an exceedingly comfortable fit.
