Product description The AKG K245 comprise a pair of open-back, over-ear headphones designed for monitoring and mixing applications. With 50mm transducers and a frequency response of 15 Hz to 25 kHz, these headphones are capable of reproducing not only bass frequencies—but detailed bass frequencies, allowing you to make critical balancing decisions when you don’t have access to apposite monitoring systems.Furthermore, AKG’s largely-metal design elements ensure the K245 are durable, comfortable, and portable: All-metal hinges, combined with a self-adjusting headband, offer a comfortable and secure fit. These are open-backed headphones, providing a sonic experience that's much less claustrophobic when compared to that of a closed-back model. Yet the aforementioned design elements aim for durability; oftentimes, you would not want to take your open-backed cans out of the studio, for fear of damage on the road.
