Product description Providing you with multiple recording patterns for demanding project studio applications, the Project Studio P420 Multi-Pattern Large-Diaphragm Condenser Microphone from AKG features a 1" dual-diaphragm construction optimized for use on a variety of sources including vocals, ensembles, grand piano, woodwind and brass instruments, and drums and percussion. You can select among cardioid, omnidirectional, or figure-8 polar patterns, while the -20 dB pad allows the P420 to handle up to 155 dB SPL, making it suited for louder sources. It is housed in an all-metal body, and includes a spider shockmount and aluminum carry case.
