| Subject: Location vs Reception | | Date: 10.06.2021 10:33:05 | Name: Spencer | Does location and do obstacles affect reception? I have two antenna (I suspect one for Mic and one for Headset Transmitter?) located in back of pressbox with LoS through double pane (argon) insulated gas windows. When shut, sensitivity registers as low or non existent. When open, opposite. Standing between the mic and the antenna also decreases reception. Should I move the antenna out front above the windows and below the roof line? Would increased height work even better (on top of the roof on a 4' - 5' pole?)?
