Product description The WMS4500 CM-311 L Wireless Head-Worn Condenser Microphone Set from AKG contains the PT4500 Pocket Transmitter, the SR4500 Receiver and the CM-311 L Head-Worn Condenser Mic. It is designed as a wireless set for vocalists and speakers performing in noisy environments that commonly occur in live sound situations. The CM-311 L is a head-worn condenser microphone that is designed to provide isolated, close proximity vocal pickup and offer a comfortable fit for the performer. It is intended to deliver a full, clear and distortion-free sound with maximum rejection. Incorporating Differoid (differential cardioid) noise canceling technology, the CM-311 L cancels sounds beyond a few inches away from sources such as guitar amps and crowd noise. This allows for a higher degree of isolation and less bleed in the vocal channel. It also helps to cancel out sound from the floor monitors, thus preventing it from feeding back through the mic. This allows up to 12 dB more gain before feedback. Also, the mic is equipped with an adjustable headband and boom to ensure a comfortable fit. The PT4500 pocket transmitter connects to your microphone via 3-pin Mini XLR connector. Housed in an aluminum body and weighing in at just over 3 ounces, the PT4500 is designed to be both rugged and lightweight. It has an RF output power of up to 50mW to maximize resistance to interference and dropouts. It also has a backlit display for reading it on stage, as well as a pilot tone system that sends transmitter status data to the receiver. Vital parameters such as mute switch position and remaining battery life can be monitored remotely helping to prevent dropouts, thus improving the overall performance. The unit can operate for up to 15 hours on standard AA batteries, or up to 12 hours on the optional rechargeable BP 4000 battery pack. The SR4500 is a true diversity UHF receiver that is designed for use with the PT4500 transmitter. The system is available in 8 UHF bands that are 30 MHz wide each. Each frequency preset provides up to 19 intermodulation-free channels and there are a total of 1,200 frequencies to select from. Using several frequency bands allows you to operate as many as 70 channels simultaneously. A large, backlit color display and a jog wheel make the SR4500 easy to use, and a programmable LED ring indicates important system parameters at a glance. The SR4500 also features Auto Setup and Environment Scan functions which automatically analyze the local RF environment, find usable frequency groups, and set frequencies. Furthermore, the optional HUB4000 Q ethernet interface allows you to connect multiple SR4500 receivers for integration into the HiQnet audio networking system. This allows for remote monitoring and configuration from your Windows based computer. - True diversity receiver housed in all-metal case
