Product description The Neutrino U3 Portable Hard Drive Enclosure from Akitio accepts a single 2.5" SATA hard drive or SSD that is 12.5 mm or 9.5 mm in height. No drive is included. This enclosure connects to Windows or Mac systems via the USB 3.0 port to offer 10 times faster transfer rates compared to USB 2.0. Powering the drive requires only a USB bus powered port but an optional power adapter is also available. The drive is passively cooled for quiet operation via the large heatsink located on the bottom of the drive. This enclosure can also be stacked with other Neutrino's and includes a USB 3.0 cable. - USB 3.0 SuperSpeed interface
