Product description - Aleratec 1:11 HDD Copy Cruiser - 11 HDD Duplicator and 12 HDD Sanitizer
The 1:11 HDD Copy Cruiser from Aleratec is a powerful hard disk drive (HDD) duplicator/sanitizer with twelve bays for 3.5" SATA HDDs. The copy cruiser allows you to make eleven simultaneous copies of a HDD. It can also be used to sanitize twelve HDDs at once, with one pass, three pass, and seven pass sanitizing options. The bays feature Non-Scratch SATA connectors rated for more than 50,000 swap cycles. Optional adapters allow the copy cruiser to be used with 2.5" SATAs. - Duplicate up to 11 Hard Drives Simultaneously
- Create eleven 160GB hard drive clones in approximately 80 minutes, about 7 minutes per drive
- Sanitize up to 12 Hard Drives Simultaneously with Secure Erase
- Sanitize twelve 160GB hard drives in approximately 40 minutes, a little over 3 minutes per drive
- Sanitize up to twelve hard drives simultaneously with overwrites, as recommended by Government Agencies (One Pass; Three Pass with Verify; Seven Pass DOD Wipe)
- Utilizes Secure Erase, a powerful and efficient NIST 800-88 accepted form of sanitization that is up to 90% faster than traditional overwrite methods
- Copies of FAT/FAT32/NTFS/Ext2/Ext3/HFS drives can be even faster with the Fast Copy function, which only copies relevant data
- Supports 3.5" SATA I/II HDDs
- Supports 2.5" HDDs with optional Aleratec adapters
- Quick Load Drive Doors let you simply insert drives and close the door; no tools or trays necessary
- NSS (Non Scratch SATA) connectors, rated for greater than 50,000 swap cycles
- Asynchronous feature allows you to load new target drives during a Copy or Compare process
- Insert drive, close door, start copying or sanitizing
