Cloning USB Storage Devices
• Aleratec's 1:23 Copy Tower is a compact duplicator that can easily be moved from room to room to simultaneously duplicate USB storage devices on the fly. Compatible with most popular brands of USB flash drives, external 2.5" USB hard drives, or solid-state drives, copy functions include copy system and data only, copy complete drive, format FAT and FAT 32 file systems, and compare, which allows you to verify that the target devices are an exact copies of the original. Asynchronous duplication is a time-saving feature popular with IT professionals that writes the data to internal primary storage then duplicates it to target media. This allows you to remove and replace USB storage devices while other copies are running.

Sanitizing 2.5" USB External Hard Drives
• The 1:23 Copy Tower is also a powerful sanitization tool for 2.5" external hard drives and can erase all traces of information. Because external USB hard drives often contain confidential information including passwords and financial data, proper sanitization protects you and your company from the growing risk of financial fraud. The 1:23 Copy Tower gives you a choice of the following overwrite functions, which include 1-pass wip, 3-pass wipe, and 7-pass wipe. 1-pass wipe is also referred to as single pass and is a one-wipe algorithm that writes meaningless data over every sector of the hard drive once and is primarily used for lower-risk applications. 3-pass wipe overwrites meaningless data over every sector of the hard drive three times and is a good choice for higher risk applications, while 7-pass wipe overwrite meaningless data over every sector seven times and is typically used for high security applications. Hard drives sanitized by Aleratec's 7-Pass wipe have been verified by a leader in forensic data recovery as being "forensically unrecoverable" and meet the criteria set forth in NIST 800-88 guidelines for media sanitization.

1:23 Copy Tower Operation
• This industrial-grade duplicator does not require a computer to operate. Simply connect the source drive and target drives into the USB inputs and use the intuitive backlit LCD display that shows the function selected and job progress.

USB Compatibility
• The 1:23 Copy Tower will duplicate USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 flash drives and hard drives at speeds of up to 1.5GB per minute.
