Product description - Aleratec HDD Drive Demolisher V2 Hard Disk Drive Destroyer
The Aleratec HDD Drive Demolisher V2 can safely and quickly destroy two 2.5" or 3.5" hard drives safely in under a minute without electricity. The manual hydraulic steel punch destroys the drive spindle and chassis while deforming the drive platters. To ensure effective data destruction, use the separately available Aleratec HDD Duplicator/Sanitizer software to zero out the drive before destroying. The enclosure is designed to only operate while the door is closed, keeping the operator safe from stray components.
