• Baader 2" Mark III Multi-Purpose Coma Corrector for Dobsonian OTAs An ideal visual and photographic tool for fast Dobsonian optical tube assemblies (OTAs), the Alpine Astronomical Baader 2" Mark III Multi-Purpose Coma Corrector (MPCC) improves your views and image quality on any OTA with a removable 2" collar. It eliminates distracting off-axis comas and ensures stars remain tack sharp all the way to the edges—without adding any magnification, reducing the focal length, or narrowing the field of view.The MPCC is optimized for fast f/3.5 to f/6 Dobs and will transmit enough light to completely cover today's large DSLR camera and CCD imager sensors without vignetting or requiring addition back focus distance. Phantom Group Multi-Coatings maximize transmission through the visual bands while blocking ultraviolet (UV) and infrared (IR) wavelengths to prevent ghosting by sensors that are sensitive to them. The MPCC has standard 2" eyepiece filter threads and a second set of male threads that match their T-2 Astro modular accessory system to give users access to a wide assortment of adapters and rings that allow the corrector to be attached to gear from eyepiece holders to imagers with relative ease.
• Baader Deluxe 1.25" / T-2 Eyepiece Holder Part of their T-2 Astro modular accessory system, the Alpine Astronomical Baader Deluxe 1.25" / T-2 Eyepiece Holder is designed to provide a reliable and simple way to hold your eyepieces, diagonals, Barlows, or other accessories.It is made with tight tolerances to minimize sloppiness and has three clamp screws to ensure the eyepiece is centered and accurately optically aligned, with a bronze compression ring to hold your gear without marking or marring the nosepiece. To help ensure tack-sharp images, the holder has a micro-focusing mechanism with 5mm of travel and a lock to set the focus. Standard T-2 internal (female) threads are machined into the telescope side of the holder.
• Baader VariLock 29 Extension Tube Part of their Astro T-2 modular accessory system, the Alpine Astronomical Baader VariLock 29 Extension Tube allows you to set your perfect extension length and lock it in for the precise focus distance of 20-29mm. An engraved scale on the tube lets you note the selected length for future repeatability. Both sides have standard T-2 threads to make it completely compatible with all rings, tubes, holders, and other parts of the Astro T-2 system for creating custom visual and imaging rigs.
