Product description Ingeniously designed as a versatile multi-tasker, the Alpine Astronomical Baader 2" to 1.25" Pushfix Reducer Adapter offers three different ways to use it: as a standard reducer, as a quick-change adapter, and as a semi-permanent 2" eyepiece adapter. - Conventional Reducer Adapter
Use as a conventional reducer adapter that allows you to use smaller eyepieces in 2" holders. With the adapter installed in the 2" holder, you simply drop the 1.25" eyepiece into the adapter's holder and tighten the thumbscrew to compress the ring and hold it in place. - Quick-Change Adapter
If you plan on swapping between multiple eyepieces throughout the night, there are three plastic Delrin Pushfix set screws that can be threaded into the holder and hold the eyepiece by tension—retaining them firmly in place without having to fumble with the thumbscrew every time you change eyepieces. - Semi-Permanent 2" Adapter
Insert a 1.25" eyepiece into the holder and tighten the three countersunk set screws arrayed around the compression ring to lock the eyepiece into the adapter, converting it for 2" use.
