Product description Assembled to provide you with a wide magnification range and maximum ease of use, the Alpine Astronomical Baader Classic Q-Turret Eyepiece Set gives you four eyepieces with focal lengths ranging from 6mm to 32mm, their modular 2.25x Barlow lens, their Q-Turret eyepiece holder, and the Astro Box #1 (M31) carrying case. The modular design of the Barlow allows it to be disassembled and the lens element installed directly onto the turret's barrel to increase the magnification of each eyepiece installed. - Baader Q-Turret 4-Eyepiece Holder (1.25") The perfect companion piece for observers and imagers who frequently change eyepieces during their astronomy sessions, the Alpine Astronomical Baader Q-Turret 4-Eyepiece Holder is designed to hold up to four eyepieces for faster and easier changes. For expanded use, the turret can also be used with Barlows for even more magnification options, or with CCD imaging systems. Its single 1.25" barrel fits into your telescope's drawtube or visual back and is threaded for standard 1.25" eyepiece filters, eliminating the need to swap filters when you change eyepieces and making viewing much more enjoyable. The four eyepiece holders get loaded with your eyepieces, and you simply rotate the turret to switch them. When using the turret with imaging systems, you gain the benefit of the camera being parfocal with the eyepieces, enabling fast and accurate focusing without the frustration and guesswork commonly associated with trying to focus an imager on a computer screen.
- Baader 2.25x/1.3x Classic Q-Barlow (1.25") Designed to give you more magnification and use options than a typical Barlow, the Alpine Astronomical Baader 2.25x/1.3x Classic Q-Barlow will be a versatile and valuable addition to your planetary observation kit. When used as a conventional Barlow, it increases the magnification of any 1.25" barrel eyepiece by a factor of 2.25x by simply dropping the eyepiece into the Barlow's holder. The front lens cell can be unscrewed from the main body and threaded onto the filter threads of an eyepiece to increase its magnification by just 1.3x. When used with the companion Baader Q-Turret eyepiece turret, the cell can be installed on the single lower barrel to increase the magnification of all four eyepieces by 2.25x. High transmission multi-coatings on the lens surfaces maximize light transmission through the lens system. This Barlow is ideal for improving lunar and planetary observation and imaging.
- Baader 6mm Classic Ortho Eyepiece (1.25") Employing a classic orthoscopic design and engineered primarily for planetary viewing, the Alpine Astronomical Baader 6mm Classic Ortho Eyepiece makes an ideal addition to your observational kit. With a generous 52° apparent angle of view, it produces a relatively high magnification on most optical tube assemblies (OTAs). This model is parfocal with other Ortho eyepieces, which means there is little to no need to refocus when changing eyepieces within the Ortho line.It features a 4-element/2-group lens design with a triplet-element and one plano-convex eye lens, so there are only four glass-air-surfaces to limit internal diffraction and limit light loss. True High-Transmission (HT) multi-coatings on all glass-air-surfaces yield brilliant images while virtually eliminating internal reflections, that when paired with the lens design, delivers a pure-white image with improved sharpness and contrast. The interior of the anodized housing is blackened to suppress stray light, and has machined threads to accept most standard 1.25" filters. It is made with a standard 1.25" barrel so it is compatible with the most popular-sized holders and accessories. Alpine outfitted it with a winged eyecup to block stray terrestrial light to improve brightness and contrast, while helping to eliminate distractions.
- Baader 10mm Classic Ortho Eyepiece (1.25") Employing a classic orthoscopic design and engineered primarily for planetary viewing, the Alpine Astronomical Baader 10mm Classic Ortho Eyepiece makes an ideal addition to your observational kit. With a generous 52° apparent angle of view, it produces a relatively medium magnification on most optical tube assemblies (OTAs). - Baader 18mm Classic Ortho Eyepiece (1.25") Employing a classic orthoscopic design and engineered primarily for planetary viewing, the Alpine Astronomical Baader 18mm Classic Ortho Eyepiece makes an ideal addition to your observational kit. With a generous 52° apparent angle of view, it produces a relatively low magnification on most optical tube assemblies (OTAs). - Baader 32mm Classic Plossl Eyepiece with Extender Tube (1.25") Employing a classic Plossl design and engineered primarily for planetary viewing, the Alpine Astronomical Baader 32mm Classic Plossl Eyepiece makes an ideal addition to your observational kit. It produces a relatively low magnification on most optical tube assemblies (OTAs), with a generous 50° apparent angle of view. This model is parfocal with Baader ortho eyepieces, which means there is little to no need to refocus when changing eyepieces within the ortho line. The eyepiece features a 4-element/2-group lens design with a triplet-element and one plano-convex eye lens, so there are only four glass-air surfaces to limit internal diffraction and light loss.
