Product description Use the Alpine Astronomical Baader Oxygen-III Nebula Filter to tease out the elusive details on planetary nebulae by boosting the contrast and eliminating all wavelengths of light except for the O-III centered on 502nm, with a narrow 10nm half-bandpass on either side of the target wavelength. The filter surface is dielectrically coated with anti-reflection coatings to transmit the maximum amount of light through, and precision planeoptically polished to limit distortion and color fringing. Due to the narrow bandpass and target wavelength, the filter is recommended for use on telescopes with apertures of 6" and larger, and is intended for visual use only. The filter comes mounted for easy installation on just about any 2" eyepiece, diagonal, Barlow lens, or other accessory with standard 2" filter threads.
