Product description The Altman R40 Borderlight is a multi-lamp, compartmented strip lighting fixture designed to provide a general wash of light. It is available wired for either three or four circuit operation for color separation or blending. The R40 borderlight is manufactured in portable lengths of 6 feet, three or four circuit; 7.5 feet, three circuit; and 8 feet, four circuit. This is a 6' fixture, with 3 circuits, and floor trunnions. The R40 is also available in custom lengths and custom circuitry with sockets on 6 inch centers. When fitted with a 250 watt, Par spot bulb (available separately), each socket will provide 31 footcandles, 13 feet in diameter, from a distance of 30 feet. With a 250 watt, Par flood bulb, each socket will provide 7 footcandles, 35 feet in diameter, from the same distance. - May be used as a toning or fill light or for cyclorama lighting from both top and bottom.
- Constructed of 20-gauge steel, baked black enamel finish.
- Each section has a spring-loaded color filter frame retaining door.
