Product description The Aluratek Handheld Gimbal for Smartphones is a compact and ergonomic gimbal stabilizer that offers several outstanding features for smartphone shooters.
To begin with, there's a USB Type-A port that allows you to plug in your phone and power it off the gimbal's built-in battery, which has up to a 12-hour runtime. This means that you're not limited to your phone's battery runtime, but rather, can shoot for hours.
Second, one of the modes of the gimbal is a vertical lock mode that lets you lock your smartphone in a portrait orientation. Portrait images allow for easier integration with select social media destinations. Overall, you can switch between three modes at the press of a button. There's pan follow mode, pan and tilt follow mode, and the aforementioned vertical lock mode. When you select one of the first two modes, once you enter the mode, a joystick at your fingertips allows you to maneuver your phone while the gimbal compensates for shake and provides you with smoother, more stabilized video.
Furthermore, an iOS/Android app called Gimbal Pro is included that provides features such as facial tracking, panoramic capture, and zoom in and out control, which works in combination with a zoom button on the side of the gimbal. Likewise, there's a photo capture button that works together with the app. The app pairs with your phone over Bluetooth.
