Product description Photography Accessories for Your iPad Read More Turn your Apple or Android smartphone into a mobile video rig using the Smartphone Streaming Video Rig with Mic & Y-Cord from ALZO. This bundle includes a Comica CVM-VM10 II compact shotgun mic, a metal rig with a rubber hand grip, two shoe mounts, and a tripod mount base. To enable audio monitoring, a 3.5mm mic/headphone breakout cord is also included, which allows for headphone audio monitoring during playback. Included foam and fuzzy windscreens help to reduce audio interference cause by the wind, and to further help stabilize the mic and audio recordings, a clever shock mount is integrated within the microphone shoe mount.
ALZO's Smartphone Streaming Video Rig is compatible with the iPhone 4, 5, 6, and 7, although the iPhone 7 will require Apple's Lightning to Headset adapter that is supplied with the phone. There is also compatibility with most Android phones, including models from Samsung, LG, Motorola, Google, and more. Protection is provided by a limited 1-year warranty.
Please bear in mind that this rig does not include a smartphone, video light, or headphones. General Features - If you use your phone to stream or record video, you need a good microphone to improve the quality of the audio. This ALZO product includes the Comica CVM-VM10 II compact shotgun microphone and the ALZO Smartphone 3.5mm TRRS Breakout Cord to allow for headphone audio monitoring during playback. Standard video apps do not provide audio monitoring while recording.
- To monitor audio when recording video you will need to use a pro video recording app like Open Camera, Cinema FV5, or Filmic Pro.
