Product description The ALZO Smoothy Rig is a lightweight handheld, top-gimbaled video stabilizer designed to support a variety of DSLR cameras or small camcorders weighing up to 6 lb. This stabilizer can perform smooth jib moves from ground level to about 8' high. It features two adjustable, textured rubber hand grips that offer comfortable, secure handling and stability.The top gimbaled stabilizer uses camera weight for low center of gravity stabilization, eliminating the need for heavy counterweights. The camera mount includes 2D camera balance adjustment that allows for controlling any camera angle, including perfect horizon. The rig stabilizer also includes individual gimbal friction drag adjusters to customize stabilization action. - Compatibility

- Most camcorders require an accessory camera release plate (available separately), assuming that the camcorder tripod mount screw is near the balance point of the camcorder
- All-aluminum sturdy lightweight construction
- Top gimbal uses camera weight for low center of gravity stabilization and eliminates counterweights
- Elimination of counterweights reduces overall rig weight
- Two textured, adjustable rubber hand grips reduce arm strain and improve stabilization
- Camera mount allows for 2D X/Y balancing and includes a DSLR camera anti-rotation lock plate
- Camera mount also includes end screws to prevent camera accidental release
- Top of gimbal shoe mount allows for mounting a video light or other accessories
- 10 oz Counterweight included for light camcorders and video cameras
