Product description The Transformer DSLR Rig, Handle, & Extenders Kit from ALZO Digital provides an extendable frame (with a top handle) for mounting your DSLR and accessories. In addition to the Transformer DSLR Rig, this kit includes two height extenders and a bracket handle. This tripod-mountable bracket also functions as a handheld rig and has two integrated, rubber-padded handgrips. Use the two included extenders to add 1.5" to the bracket height when using a large battery or other bulky accessories with your DSLR. The top rail of the bracket includes nine mounting holes which can be used with the three included shoe mounts. The two end shoe mounts can be removed and 1/4"-20–mountable accessories can be attached in their place.
The Transformer DSLR Rig's camera baseplate is offset to the rear for better balance when using a zoom (or other heavy lens) and also to accommodate side-attached camera cables. The rig's baseplate features a sliding mounting screw for balancing the camera. The Transformer DSLR Rig provides unobstructed battery access for most DSLRs, including the Canon 5D/7D/60D, and Nikon D7000/D3100/D5100. - Transformer DSLR Rig The Transformer DSLR Rig from ALZO converts your DSLR in a fully featured Pro Custom Video Camera with adjustable unobstructed camera battery access. It includes three shoe mounts, one of which can be repositioned or removed. There are 1/4"-20 screen threads for mounting optional accessories as well. The base plate allows for solid flush mounting of bracket to a video tripod, and the slot-adjustable screw mount allows for camera balance adjustment. In addition, the base plate camera mount offset allows for cable access to the left connector side of the camera. The rig is textured from aluminum and has rubber hand grips.
