It connects to your HD antenna and streams to your Echo Show, or to your display through your Fire TV, or to your compatible mobile device via the Fire TV mobile app. With two tuners built-in, you can record two shows at one time, or watch a different live TV channel on two different devices. The onboard 500GB of storage can hold up to 75 hours of HD video. The Fire TV Recast can be controlled via the Fire TV mobile app or with your voice through your Alexa-enabled device. Note: Not all channels are available in all areas. A compatible mobile device with the Fire TV app is required for setup. An HD antenna is required for use; a Fire TV Stick or Fire TV Display are required for watching content on your display. I need to put my HD antenna as high as possible which means my attic. My wife tells me she doesn't want wires hanging down from the attic door so I've wired the Recast Box to be in the attic. My guess is it gets 120 degrees or higher up there. I could not find specs for the device but do know it has a rotating hard drive.
Any idea what the temp specs are?
