Product description Ambient's A-Ray Surround Sound Microphone Support System is a portable support that allows up to five microphones to be mounted on a single boom pole or stand. A variety of distancing options are available that can place the mics between 20-72" (50-182 cm) apart. Telescopic arms and special sliding nodes with toothed flanges fuse into a central axis and are easily adjusted using lever knobs.
The A-Ray's unique configuration can realize a variety of array formats, including the Decca Tree, INA, and 3-dimensional arrays. The ergonomic design allows the support system to be folded into a small, portable package. - Multi-Microphone Support
