Product description The ATE 208 Emesser from Ambient Recording is a compact condenser microphone that converts any standard boom mic into an M/S stereo mic system. The Emesser has a Figure-8 pickup pattern and operates on standard 48V phantom power. The mic is designed to deliver an enhanced dynamic range and it has a custom-tailored frequency response that's designed to match the acoustic pattern of a typical boom mic at 90°.
The mic has a standard TA3M connector, and comes with a Y-loom cable that allows you to connect the Emesser and any standard 3-pin XLR mic, and output both mics to a balanced 5-pin XLR output. This allows you to output both mono and stereo signals. The mic set also comes with a mounting clip and rubber rings, a foam windscreen, and a zippered carrying case. - Converts any standard boom mic into an M/S stereo mic system
