Product description The ATI FirePro V8750 Graphics Card from AMD is a workstation graphics card for computers with PCI Express expansion slots. The card is suitable for a variety of graphics-intensive applications that require or benefit from having a dedicated GPU.
The card features 800 unified shader engines. Unified shader architecture is designed to help the card operate more efficiently by allowing the GPU to distribute any task associated with rendering graphics to any available shader engine. In contrast to earlier technologies which required dedicated shaders that could only handle specific tasks. To help move data to and from the GPU as efficiently as possible, the card features 2GB of GDDR5 RAM, and has a memory bandwidth of 115.2 GB/s.
The card can be connected to a variety of different display types and features two DisplayPort and one DVI-I dual-link outputs. The outputs support HDCP so that you can view copy-protected content such as Blu-ray DVDs. In addition, the DVI port will output an analog signal when using a DVI to VGA adapter. - Popular API Support
- Supports DirectX 10.1, OpenGL 3.2, Shader Model 4.1, and other APIs to allow GPU-aware applications to benefit from the acceleration provided by a dedicated graphics card, taking much of the workload off your computer's CPU
- Unified Video Decoder 2 (UVD 2)
- Offloads much of the processing involved in decoding MPEG-4, H.264, MVC, MPEG2, and other video codecs from the CPU to the graphics card to provide better video quality than when relying on the CPU alone
- 30-Bit Display Pipeline
- Capable of generating 10 bits per RGB channel for a total of 30 bits per pixel. 30-bit produces 4x more colors than 24-bit products to give you more accurate color reproduction for mission critical graphics applications
- AMD CrossFire Pro Technology
- Combine multiple GPUs in one machine to extend the overall graphics processing power of your system
- Unified Shader Architecture
- The card distributes graphics rendering across 800 unified shader engines. Features of the shader architecture include:
- Dynamic load balancing and resource allocation for vertex, geometry, and pixel shaders
- Common instruction set and texture unit access supported for all types of shaders
- Dedicated branch execution units and texture address processors
- Anti-Aliasing Filters
- Applies anti-aliasing and enhancement filters as video is rendered to produce smoother-looking graphics. These include:
- Multi-sample anti-aliasing: 2, 4, or 8 samples per pixel
- Up to 24x Custom Filter Anti-Aliasing (CFAA) for improved quality
- Adaptive super-sampling and multi-sampling
- AMD AutoDetect Technology
- Adjusts card parameters to optimize its configuration based on what the software determines to be the best settings for whatever application you are running at the moment
- Supports S400 Synchronization Module
- The S400 Synchronization Module allows you to synchronize multiple cards installed in different systems (frame lock) or synchronize the card to a common house clock (genlock)
