Product description The VMS5 from American Audio is a MIDI controller with four USB / analog selectable MIDILOG (MIDI / Analog) channels and full analog mixing capabilities. The controller offers 76 MIDI controls including 36 knobs, 7 faders, and 33 buttons. The integrated soundcard is user configurable with 4x4 (DVS/2-deck) or 8x2 (4-deck) capabilities. The mixer offers RCA inputs for each of the four channels and channels 2 and 3 are switchable between line and phono inputs. The master output offers XLR and RCA outputs, while the booth output is offered on RCA. Each of the four channels and the two microphone input channels include controls for gain and a 3-band EQ with highs, mids, and lows controls. The knobs on the front panel feature LEDs for easy viewing in low-light performance situations. Each side of the controller is switchable between two decks and offers pitch controls, pitch bend, four hot cue buttons, effects, loop, filter, play/pause, and a jog wheel. The crossfader offers adjustable curve controls, can be reversed or assigned, and is replaceable. The VMS5 ships with a 6V DC power adapter. -
