Product description The American DJ VPS-20S is a handheld dynamic microphone offering focused directionality and voice-tailored frequency response for singers, announcers, and DJs in broadcast, recording, karaoke, and live stage applications. It features an end-address design for user-friendly positioning. Its cardioid polar pattern rejects off-axis sounds, resulting in a tight pickup area and minimized bleed. A slight presence boost in its 50 Hz to 15 kHz frequency response makes it well-suited for vocals and instruments such as horns, snare drums, and guitar cabinets. The included microphone clip allows you to attach it to a mic stand for stationary configurations. An XLR 3-pin output jack ensures compatibility with most microphone preamps and mixing consoles, and the supplied 15' XLR to 1/4" cable provides easy connectivity to a portable PA or karaoke system. During periods of inactivity, mute the mic via the on/off switch to reduce the noise floor. - Cardioid polar pattern provides enhanced off-axis rejection and improved gain before feedback
