Product description This Genesis FS-700 Underwater Housing from Amphibico is a waterproof case for the Sony NEX-FS700U camcorder. It has a depth rating of 295' and can be balanced for neutral buoyancy in freshwater and seawater. It is constructed from durable, marine-grade aluminum, which has been anodized for corrosion-resistance by a layer of military-grade, powder-coated polyurethane paint.
The housing provides access to virtually all camcorder functions via the electronic controls on the dual ergonomic grip handles and the mechanical controls on the body itself. A large 3.5", top-mounted window allows for easy viewing of the camcorder's LCD screen. Interchangeable dome and lens ports from Aquatica are accepted, in order to accommodate various E-mount lenses.
A hydrophone enables underwater sound recording to accompany your video. Additionally, there is a moisture sensor with an alarm to warn you if the housing's waterproof seal is compromised. The Genesis FS-700 also features 6 auxiliary ports for video feeds to optional external monitors or for other purposes. - Depth Rating

- Provides access to virtually all camcorder functions via the 14 electronic controls on the dual ergonomic grip handles, and the mechanical controls on the body. The housing offers access to a total of over 25 functions, including manual focus, manual zoom, manual white balance, manual iris, manual gain/ISO, manual shutter speed, ND filter, slow-motion recording and fast-motion recording. Full control panel access means the camcorder's complete menu is at your fingertips

- Lens Port System
- Interchangeable dome and macro ports from Aquatica are accepted, in order to accommodate various E-mount lenses from Sony and Zeiss. The 6" Dome port # 18409 accommodates the 18-55mm lens with zoom gear # GRSO1855FS700, as well as the 16mm lens and the 16mm with 0.75x wide-angle adapter. The 8" Dome port #18405 is also compatible with the 18-55mm lens but is recommended for the 10-18mm with extension #18457 and zoom gear # GRSO1855FS100. There is also a larger 9.25" dome port available for the 16mm, 16mm with adapter, 18-55mm, and 10-18mm lenses. The flat AF Macro port #18428 can be combined with a wide range of extension rings to fit various macro lenses from 35mm to 200mm in focal length
