Product description The Mity-Meg Plus with Rechargeable Battery Pack from AmpliVox Sound Systems comprises an S602MR Mity-Meg Plus 25W megaphone and an S1405 lithium-ion rechargeable battery pack. It is offered as a convenient and cost-effective solution for keeping your megaphone charged & ready to use, for EMS & police work or to reach crowds at an event. With a range of up to one mile, the Mity-Meg Plus is lightweight and features an LED charge-status indicator, three functions (Talk, Siren, Whistle), a detachable microphone with a 3' cord, and a strap. The rechargeable S1405 battery directly plugs into power outlets and is compatible with all world-currents with the appropriate adapter plug (available separately). There is no memory effect, so you can charge the battery whenever you want. It takes four hours to fully charge the battery, which provides 8 hours of operation. - S602MR Mity-Meg Plus 25W Rechargeable-Ready Megaphone with Detachable Microphone The S602MR Mity-Meg Plus from Amplivox Sound Systems is a lightweight (at 2.6 lb), 25W megaphone which lets you be heard at a distance of up to 1760 yd, for EMS & police work or to reach crowds at an event. The unit is equipped with a detachable corded microphone which allows you to move the horn away from your face or lift it above your head for additional range. The convenient shoulder strap (included) lets you comfortably carry this megaphone for all-day use. The S602MR Mity-Meg Plus can be powered with eight C batteries for up to 40 hours continuous talk time, or with the S1405 rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack (available separately) for up to 8 hours continuous talk time. Battery indicator lights let you know when it's time to recharge. In addition to Talk mode, the unit offers a Siren and a whistle mode. It also features a volume/gain knob inside the cover, a comfortable pistol grip, and a rugged, weatherproof ABS construction.
