Product description The Microphone for Acoustic Bass from AMT is a tailpiece-mounted microphone and preamplifier system for contrabass. The electret-condenser microphone has been designed specifically for acoustic bass. The system allows the player to adjust the microphone, or move it from one instrument to another quickly and easily. The microphone's position is adjustable by way of a 9" gooseneck. The Super preamp was engineered to provide a signal that's as clean as possible with its transformer-less circuit. It features a four-pin locking connector, one XLR and one 1/4" output, dB cut, and low trim filter. This preamp can be powered by transformer, phantom power or 9 volt battery. The system includes the microphone, Super preamp, adjustable tail piece mount, XLR output, quick release mount, a 10' cable from the microphone to the preamp (it is equipped with AMT's Disconnecting Cable Technology to allow the microphone to be used wirelessly) and a hard case. - Compact, suitable for travel
