Product description The P808OB-5C Wireless System from AMT includes P808OB Off-the-Bell High SPL Clip-On microphone and Wi5IIC Dual UHF receiver/transmitter set. The AMT P808OB Off-the-Bell High SPL Clip-On Microphone is designed for trombone, low brass, high pressure trumpet and saxophone. Designed and manufactured by hand, the system is intended to clip onto the handle of the instruments and is the choice for professionals that play at high SPL levels. It includes features like D.C.T. (Disconnect Cable Technology) with the ability to connect to the included Wi5IIC system, thereby creating a belt pack free wireless system. The Wi5IIC Plug-On Wireless Transmitter Set comes with the ZRIII multi-channel dual UHF Receiver and the Wi5IIC plug-on transmitter. The system can be completed by adding the included AMT P800BM microphone for wireless, belt-pack free instrument miking. The included ZRIII dual receiver allows for up to two microphone/transmitter combos to be used with it at a time. It includes two XLR balanced outputs (channels A & B) on the back panel for discrete routing of each channel into your mixer. In addition, channel A also has an unbalanced 1/4" output. The receiver also employs an automatic frequency scan feature for quickly finding the band with the strongest available signal. The Wi5IIC plug-on transmitter can power and attach to the included P800BM microphone for wireless miking of guitars, saxophones, trumpets and more. The transmitter includes a lithium-ion rechargeable battery with a charge life of up to 8 hours of continuous use. It also features a lit LCD display for visibility on stage, an on/off button for saving battery life during breaks as well as a mute button. - P808OB Off-the-Bell High SPL Clip-On Microphone The P808OB High SPL Clip-On Microphone from AMT is an off-the-bell mounted, high SPL clip-on microphone for trombone, low brass, high pressure trumpet, and saxophone playing. Designed and manufactured by hand, the system features a specially designed clamp that positions at an angle and reaches around the front of the bell of a trombone. The P808OB High SPL Clip-On Microphone includes features like D.C.T. (Disconnect Cable Technology) with the ability to connect to the Wi5C, creating a belt-pack free wireless system. The P808OB in its stock configuration is a good choice for the players who need a hard wired (non wireless) setup. The setup includes the BP 45 belt-pack preamp. The system also allows the player to easily change to and from AMT's various preamps (sold separately) while also allowing for direct connections to the Wi5C, Shure, or Sennheiser wireless systems (sold separately). P808OB High SPL Clip-On Microphone is a good choice for playing in loud environments such as lead trumpet and rock-n-roll saxophone where high SPL levels are reached. The P808OB is intended for a principal artist, ensemble sections, or as a soloist. The microphone is suspended in a 4-point isolation ring reducing key and handling noise. Phantom power or 1 AA battery is required for hardwired/belt-pack use.
