Product description The AMT Z1i Flute Microphone System comes complete with the Inline preamp, case, and AMT disconnecting cable technology to allow the microphone to be used wireless with the AMT Wi5C, Shure or Sabine Wireless (sold separately). It requires phantom power and the Mic (XLR) cable (sold separately). The Sennheiser cable is also sold separately.Designed and manufactured by hand, this system is intended to clip onto a standard C flute. It is suitable for professionals looking for a natural sound reproduction from a clip-on microphone. This Microphone System includes D.C.T. (Disconnect Cable Technology) with the ability to connect Wi5C creating a belt pack free wireless system.The Z1i allows the player to easily change to and from AMT's different preamps (sold separately) while also allowing for direct connections to the Wi5C, Shure, Sabine, Line 6, or Sennheiser wireless systems (sold separately). With a change of cable (sold separately), you can convert your Z1i from an Inline style preamp over to a wireless setup quickly and easily.This is a good choice for soft to loud music for a principal artist, ensemble setting, or as a soloist. The microphones are suspended in a 2-point isolation ring reducing key and handling noise. A microphone is placed near the head joint of the flute, which will cover the complete range of the instrument. Phantom power is required for use with the Z1i. - D.C.T. (Disconnect Cable Technology)
