Product description The C-SATA USB 3.1 Type-C to SATA Adapter from Angelbird converts your internal hard drives and solid-state drives into an external drive, which can be used by computer systems featuring a USB Type-C port. The adapter is compatible with 2.5" and 3.5" drives sporting a SATA interface as well as systems running on a Windows, Mac, Linux, or Android operating system. Additionally, the adapter supports TRIM and UASP technologies, so the drive can maintain its performance and reliability.
The USB 3.1 Type-C interface transfers data at a rate of up to 10 Gb/s, while the SATA connector offers speeds of up to 6 Gb/s. For drives requiring additional power, a 12V port is on board, allowing you to connect an optional power adapter.
