Product description Cinema Lens Care and Maintenance Read More dtafvuxbbxacyvbyuwxddcwfrzcubtdfzcs The Optimo 24 - 290mm Ultra 12x S35 Long-Range Zoom Lens from Angenieux is suitable for use in feature films, TV series, live stage, commercials, music videos. The lens features an optical & mechanical design, offering better optical performance, and improved mechanical stability and serviceability over previous models. It has well controlled optical performances at each focal length and focus distance, having a good balance between contrast and resolution. It reduces dust inhale by improving air flow and adding dust traps. The lens is adapted to extreme shooting environments with passive athermalization from -4 to 104°F (-20 to 40°C). Thanks to the IRO technology, the lens can be configured in three different versions: S35 (Ø31.1mm), U35 (Ø34.6mm), and FF/VV (Ø46.3mm) with sets of rear and rings. - Well controlled optical performances at each focal length and focus distance by having a good balance between contrast and resolution
- Open aperture, considered as variable primes
- No ramping, minimal breathing, quick for 12x zoom ratios
- Uses aspherical elements to minimize color fringing
- Short MOD - S35 4'1" (1.22m) in Ultra S35 - lower or equal to 5' (1.5m) in FF/VV
