Product description Cinema Lens Care and Maintenance Read More This Full Frame & Super 35 Angenieux EZ-1 & EZ-2 Lens Kit from B&H includes both the standard 30 to 90mm EZ-1 and the wide 15 to 40mm Angenieux EZ-2 cinema zoom lenses, each with full frame and Super 35 rear optical assemblies. This kit provides a wide range of coverage with only two lenses, with rear assemblies that can be swapped out to suit your shooting format. When used in Full Frame mode, the 30-90mm zoom becomes a 45-135mm lens, and the 15-40mm zoom becomes a 22 to 60mm lens. Each of these modular lenses is PL-mount, with optional Canon EF and Sony E-mounts available separately.Both Angenieux EZ zoom lenses feature a fast T2.0 maximum aperture in Super 35, with a maximum T3.0 in Full Frame mode. Additional features include a 2' close-focus distance, and a common 114mm lens front that is compatible with many cine-style matte boxes. Safely transport both zoom lenses in the included hard case with a folding top handle. - Angenieux EZ-1 30 to 90mm Cinema Lens Pack (Super35 and Full-Frame) The EZ-1 30 to 90mm Cinema Lens Pack from Angenieux includes the PL mount version of of the 30 to 90mm EZ-1 zoom lens, with both the Super35 and FF/VistaVision rear lens-groups. The lens is fast, T2.0 in Super35 and T3.0 in full-frame/VistaVision. Swapping between the rear lens groups doesn't affect the physical length of the lens, minimum focus distance, or 3x zoom ratio. However, the full-frame rear lens group does change the lens from a 30 to 90mm zoom that covers Super35 to a 45 to 135mm zoom that covers the full-frame/VistaVision aperture.
The lens itself has 3 manual lens control rings: focus, iris, and zoom. Each ring features cine-style 0.8 MOD gear teeth, for compatibility with follow focus units and lens control motors. The 114mm front diameter allows you to work with a wide variety of rod supported matte boxes. - Angenieux EZ-2 15 to 40mm Cinema Lens Pack (Super35 and Full-Frame) The EZ-2 15-40mm Cinema Lens Pack from Angenieux includes the PL mount version of the 15 to 40mm EZ-2 zoom lens with both the Super35 and FF/VistaVision rear lens-groups. The lens is fast, T2.0 in Super35 and T3.0 in full-frame/VistaVision. Swapping between the rear lens groups doesn't affect the physical length of the lens, minimum focus distance, or 2.7x zoom ratio. However, the full-frame rear lens group does change the lens from a 15 to 40mm zoom that covers Super35 to a 22 to 60mm zoom that covers the full-frame/VistaVision aperture.
