Product description has put together this Angler 22" Beauty Dish Reflector Kit to allow photographers to realize the full potential of this unique light modifier. The kit contains a 22" white Beauty Dish, Honeycomb Grid, and a Diffuser Sock. The Angler Beauty Dish gets its name from the popularity of this light shaper with fashion and portrait photographers. Recommended for strobes, the light source is bounced off of a centrally positioned deflector and directed to fill the neutral white reflector interior. The result is a signature soft dispersed look, but with crispness that's ideal for hair and makeup and not attainable with umbrellas and softboxes. An added feature is the natural-looking catchlights that appear in the subject's eyes. Adapters are available for the following studio flash units: Paul C. Buff Alien Bee, Einstein, White Lightning, and Zeus, Balcar, Flashpoint, Elinchrom, Impact EX, Calumet Genesis, Interfit EX and Stellar, Bowens, Calumet Travelite, Cowboy, JTL, Photoflex; Rime Lite, Impact monolights, Westcott, and Profoto. The grid is a matte black aluminum light shaping accessory that snaps onto the Beauty Dish reflector and reduces its wide beam to 40°. The grid controls spill light and gives the user more directional control while adding a bit of contrast to the light quality for a more painterly look. The Diffuser Sock is a heat-resistant 22" nylon fabric light modifier ringed with strong elastic for a snug fit around the beauty dish. In addition, it is also ideal for use with 20 and 20.5" diffusers. The diffuser softens the light output and reduces it by 1 stop.Diffuser Socks are stackable, offering the opportunity to increase the diffusion effect while reducing the light output.
