Product description The 36" Angler 7262-W-36 Whitebox Octagonal Softbox is a highly versatile light-shaping tool designed for use with for strobes, LEDs, and fluorescent lights. This medium size octagonal softbox is ideal for head and shoulders portraiture or three-quarter length and small group portraits. Its shape and large surface area give it wrap-around light quality while its shape renders natural-looking catchlights in the subject's eyes. The softbox features a soft white interior, removable front diffuser and removable inner baffle. Both diffuser and baffle can be used together for maximum softening of the light. Removing the inner baffle will give you a more crisp light look with higher contrast, while removing both the front and inner diffusers converts the softbox into a large reflector with high brightness and contrast. The octagonal Whitebox has an additional control via a fabric grid (available separately) which mounts to the recessed lip of the softbox with touch-fasteners. The grid narrows and concentrates the light's beam forward, controlling spill light and adding directional control to the Whitebox's attributes. Every Whitebox comes with a carrying case. Separate purchase of a speedring that matches your strobe's mount is required for use.
