Product description The ENERGY 16 PLUS Charger from Ansmann is compatible with AAA, AA, C, D and 9V E NiMH and NiCd cells. It can even charge NiMH and NiCd batteries simultaneously. It is capable of handling 1-12 AAA/AAs, 1-6 C/D cells, or 1-2 9V E cells. Charging is controlled by a microprocessor and battery status is monitored and available on the LED indicators. Additionally, the ENERGY 16 PLUS features dual USB power banks to enable you to charge your smartphone or other mobile device. Your batteries will benefit from an automatic refresh function, as well as automatic switching to trickle charging to prevent self-discharge when they are left in the unit. Reverse polarity protection safeguards the batteries and charger against damage when batteries are installed incorrectly. A quick capacity test can be performed on each battery, too, with results reported about 10 seconds after battery insertion. The charger runs on 100-240 VAC power for worldwide use, and includes a 6' power cord. Depending upon battery size, it will supply 60-1000mA of current per cell. - Compatible with AAA, AA, C, D and 9V E NiMH and NiCd batteries.
