Product description Power a wide range of electronic devices, and replenish that power when you need to, with the Energy 8 Plus Charger and maxE PRO AA NiMH Battery Kit from Ansmann. This bundle combines the 100-240 VAC, microprocessor-controlled charger with 4 maxE Pro rechargeable AA NiMH cells, each of which has 1.2V of output power, a 1900-2000mAh capacity, and a 2.28-2.4Wh rating. - Energy 8 Plus Battery Charger (100-240V) The Energy-8 Desktop Charger from Ansmann is suitable for NiCd and NiMH rechargeable batteries where each cell is charged independently. It can handle 1-6 AAA or AA cells, 1-4 C or D cells in addition to 1- 2 9V E-block batteries. You can also charge different size batteries at the same time. The unit features an auto-diagnosis system of the inserted cells with automatic start of a refreshing process and/or pre-charging process. Over charge protection is provided in addition to a faulty cell detection system. You can full or trickle charge your batteries as desired. The unit is dual voltage and can be used worldwide.

Each has a capacity of 2000mAh and comes pre-charged. Additionally, the batteries are virtually free of memory effect, so the full capacity will continue to be usable after each charge cycle.
The maxE PRO AAs can be charged safely at a high current, which significantly speeds up the charging process. Thanks to a separator that greatly reduces unwanted internal current flow, the cells have a very low self-discharge rate that is just a tenth of the rate seen in many other NiMH batteries. As a result, they will still hold about 80% of their initial charge after a year in storage.
