Product description - Antelope Audio introducing the new LiveClock
The LiveClock from Antelope is a master clock intended for use in live-sound applications. Featuring a lockable touchscreen, this device offers a 64-bit jitter management algorithm at sample rates of up to 192 kHz, allowing front-of-house mixers and monitoring engineers to sync their sources together, and thus producing precise stereo image and depth-of-field on stage—a truly accurate sonic picture free of the clicks and pops often associated with incorrectly coordinated digital devices. The device itself offers four BNC word clock outputs for use with other devices, as well as a pair of AES/EBU and S/PDIF connection points. The LiveClock also has a USB 2.0 output. You can also slave it to other devices via two BNC inputs, one of which operates at 10 MHz for interfacing with Antelope's 10MX and 10M systems. To suit the purposes of touring, the LiveClock takes up only 1 RU of space when mounted with its additional rack-ears, and can fit directly into a FOH console dog-house. Touch-buttons on the front panel provide convenient setups, which can be locked to prevent sample-rate changes during a session or live show. An included software compatible with Mac and Windows operating systems allows for internal control over all aspects of the LiveClock.
